This prestigious extreme long-range event, held from 7–11 May 2026 in Canjuers, Europe’s largest military training camp in Montferrat, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region of southern France, brought together approximately 230 elite shooters from around the world.
The competition featured shooting distances of up to 3,230 metres in the King of 2 Miles Final. These extraordinary ranges pushed both, equipment and competitors, to their limits. This year's event was made even more challenging by the constantly changing wind conditions, which put immense pressure on the spotters, whose accurate wind calls and corrections were crucial throughout.
Several KAHLES shooters competed in this event, demonstrating exceptional skills, focus, and teamwork in challenging conditions. Their performances reflected the high level of preparation and dedication required to prevail in one of the world’s toughest long-range shooting competitions.
